I refused to wish my dad
‘father’s day’; not because I don’t love him. But because every second of my
life is his time. And I can’t thank him
enough.
To every child, his/her father is
the best, so is mine. He treats me like his son, asks for my opinion and that
makes me feel important; but at the same time worries about me when I’m late in
returning home. He is an encourager, philosopher, guide and above all a friend.
No words can describe my love and
gratitude for him.
He motivates me to do my best in
everything and his wisdom is so valuable and appreciated. I will always look up to him as a man of
principles and values. He has been such an inspiration to me, and I take all his
life lessons to heart. Without this man in my life, I don’t know where I would
be. His hard work is what drives me to reach the highest point in my life. I’ll need his support now and forever. I
wish to become that girl one day who will match shoulders with you, papa.
He can be strict with me like a
father, he can sit and chat with me like a best friend, and he can tease me
like a brother. I’m so blessed to have him
and the relationship we share.
May you live long and stay like
an umbrella above me. So, here’s to the most important man of my life – my
father. Thank you papa, for always being
there for me, for everything you have done for me and still doing. I love you.
Let me be born as your daughter for the next 100 lives.
